- Tommy Hilfiger has designed LOVE T-Shirts and they are currently available
at all Tommy Hilfiger stores across Canada. Half of the price of the
T-Shirt goes directly to LOVE so buy one now while supplies last.
- RAPTOR'S 50/50 DRAW: On April 11th LOVE volunteers will be selling tickets
for the Raptors Foundation 50/50 draw at the Air Canada Centre. The total
amount raised through ticket sales that day is divided between the lucky
winner of the draw and the Raptors Foundation who distributes the funds to
registered charities aiding at-risk youth throughout Ontario (including
LOVE). So if you are at any Raptors game at the ACC this year remember to
buy a ticket and support LOVE. If you want to join in the fun and volunteer
for the day, please contact Patty Wilkinson at 416 785 8411.
- THE LOVE SHACK: On April 17th Toronto's LOVE youth leaders will be holding
a Garage Sale in order to raise money for their summer special events. Have
anything you don't need that you want to contribute? Email Joy at
joy@leaveoutviolence.com and mark your colanders and visit the LOVE SHACK.
- LOVE ROCKS is on May 29th. Proceeds from this year's Rocket to Freedom
party will be used to support LOVE.
- GRUB DAYS at independent schools across the GTA are being held to support
Leave Out ViolencE. For more info on getting your school involved contact

- LUNCH & LEARN: LOVE is holding educational seminars at offices across
Toronto. LOVE's experienced youth leaders hold interactive workshops on
bullying, aggression, drugs/alcohol, isolation and self-esteem to those
wanting to help their child or someone in their life cope with these issues
of violence. To book a lunch & learn seminar or if you have any questions

RECENT EVENTS
- Thornlea Secondary School held the second "Hip Hop Away From Violence"
performance to support LOVE's programs on February 23, 2004. Hundreds of
students and members of student councils from across York Region attended
this event, organized by Mike Prosserman.
- The Lonsdale Gallery held the Miniature Exhibit Art exhibition in support of
LOVE from November 29th to December 21st, 2003. Visit the Lonsdale Gallery

- On September 28th, 2003 LOVE ran to prevent violence at the Scotiabank
Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Congratulations to our runners Peter Kellam,
Kareem Khan, Lok Lee, Rich Padulo, Susan Patterson, Joelle Shen, J.B. Tshuma
and Andrew Wilson and to all the dedicated volunteers who operated THE LOVE
BOAT, LOVE's popular water station located on the course.
- On September 20, 2003 LOVE Youth and supporters enjoyed the international
hit play THIS IS OUR YOUTH by Kenneth Lonergan, directed by Woody Harrelson.
Generous LOVE supporters sponsored LOVE youth to see the play at the
CanStage's Berkley Street Theatre.
