Millennium Bureau of Canada, in 1998, provided LOVE with $1,050,000, its single largest grant to date. This two-year initiative was titled The Leave Out ViolencE Millennium Youth Violence Prevention Partnership Project. The goals were:

• To develop and disseminate LOVE's innovative and highly effective youth violence prevention and peacekeeping tools and services to cities and communities across the country.
• To educate and recruit 2,000 young Canadians to speak out against youth violence.

This ambitious project ended in 2000 after successfully having opened regional LOVE offices in Vancouver and Halifax, established a French program in Montreal, produced a LOVE manual and expanded LOVE's violence prevention tools. LOVE had the opportunity to educate and recruit 2,000 youth committed to reducing violence in communities across Canada.
